Privacy Policy

SecureServe Academy™ ("we," "our," or "the Academy") is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who use our platform. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices available to you.
By creating an account or purchasing a program on SecureServe Academy™, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. This information is required to create and maintain your student account, issue credentials, and communicate with you regarding your enrollment.
Payment Information
Payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc. SecureServe Academy™ does not store full credit card numbers or payment credentials. We receive a payment confirmation record from Stripe that includes the transaction amount, currency, and a masked reference to the payment method used. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Certification and Enrollment Records
We maintain records of your program enrollments, module progress, quiz and exam results, and certificates issued. These records are part of the permanent credential record maintained by the Academy.
Platform Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and session duration. This data is used for platform performance analysis and to improve the student experience. Usage data is collected using session analytics tools.
Communications
If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence. Email communications are used to respond to your inquiry and, where appropriate, to improve our support processes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and maintain your student account
- To process and fulfill your enrollment and purchase orders
- To issue and maintain certification records and credentials
- To send enrollment confirmations, program updates, and administrative communications
- To respond to support inquiries and requests
- To analyze platform usage and improve the student experience
- To detect and prevent fraudulent activity or violations of our Student Code of Conduct
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services in connection with platform operations:

5. Data Retention
We retain account information and enrollment records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Certification records — including issued credentials — are retained indefinitely to support the permanent verification record maintained by the Academy.
If you request deletion of your account (see Section 6), we will delete or anonymize your personal information to the extent practicable, except where retention is required by law or where the records are part of a permanent certification record.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and personal information by emailing the Certification Integrity & Compliance Department at compliance@secureserveacademy.com. Note that issued certifications are part of a permanent verification record and may be retained to support future credential verification requests.
- Opt-out of communications: You may opt out of non-transactional communications (such as newsletters or program announcements) by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
To exercise these rights, submit a request to the Certification Integrity & Compliance Department at compliance@secureserveacademy.com. We will respond within 30 days.
State Privacy Rights: Residents of certain states may have additional privacy rights regarding access, correction, deletion, and use of personal information. Requests may be submitted to the Certification Integrity & Compliance Department at compliance@secureserveacademy.com.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. All data transmitted to and from the platform is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised or wish to report a security concern, contact the Certification Integrity & Compliance Department immediately at compliance@secureserveacademy.com.
8. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes relating to privacy matters shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify enrolled students by email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
